Mission
Temple Beth Shalom’s Chesed (Caring) Committee provides physical, emotional and spiritual support and comfort to our Temple community during times of illness and loss, and also shares simchas with families during joyous occasions. Providing Gemilut Chasadim (Acts of Loving Kindness) is a community-wide effort.
Our committee is comprised of enthusiastic congregants who are committed to helping to fulfill our mission of reaching out and supporting our Temple members by performing mitzvot through acts of kindness and caring.
For information on how to volunteer, please see the individual Chesed programs.
If you or someone you know is in need of support and/or comfort, please contact Rabbi Perlman at jperlman@ix.netcom.com
